You Cannot Spell Seattle Without the Word Eat

Home to the iconic Space Needle and oldest continuously run farmers market, Pike Place, Seattle is where tech meets grunge and hipster vibe. What makes the Emerald City so unique are the wide range of restaurants, food trucks, mom and pop stores, etc. In my humble opinion, the food scene in Seattle is seriously underrated. From ramen, to pho, cheap eats and food festivals, Seatown has it all. Click the following link to find out what delicious eats Seattle is famous for.

Cheap Eats

When you have very little time and on a budget, (pre-Covid) you can find deals on wheels right in the heart of downtown. Sam Choy's food truck is one of them. This delectable lunch plate is one of their more popular items - korean fried chicken. Foodie tip: request for two scoops of rice, if you are not a fan of macaroni salad such as myself.

Food Festivals

Every summer, Seattle turns city blocks, parking lots and parks into culinary heaven. The South Lake Union street food festival is the largest one in the state. . Food vendors come from a wide range of background and expert level. This is from Tolu - Fijian chicken and potato tacos in hand-rolled poori bread. As Guy Fieri would say,

"Shut the front door."

That good! Foodie tip: order their refreshing tropical iced tea as it pairs well with the tacos.
